Who this route is for
This lane is used mostly by families sending food, clothing and gifts to relatives working in the Gulf; businesses supplying UAE retailers; people sending attested documents. You can drop parcels at our Lahore or Faisalabad branch, or book a pickup from your home or warehouse.
Transit times and how the rate is worked out
| Service | Typical transit after pickup |
|---|---|
| Express | 2 to 4 working days |
| Economy | 4 to 7 working days |
Times are typical working days, not guarantees. Customs inspections, public holidays and remote addresses can add time; we tell you if anything changes.
Your rate depends on four things: the chargeable weight (the higher of actual and volumetric weight), the service level, whether you choose duties paid, and whether you want insurance. Measure your box with the volumetric weight calculator before you ask for a quote and you will get an accurate number first time.
Documents, duties and DDP for UAE
- The UAE applies customs duty, usually 5% of the value, plus 5% VAT on most imported goods above a low-value threshold. Personal parcels of modest value often clear without charges.
- Food, cosmetics and medicines can need extra approval from the UAE authorities. Keep these commercially packed with labels intact.
- With DDP delivery we pay any duty and VAT upfront so the receiver is not asked to pay at the door.
What you need to send
- CNIC copy of the sender
- Invoice or packing list with item values
- Receiver's UAE address, phone number and, for higher-value parcels, Emirates ID number
Restricted items for UAE
Alongside our general prohibited items list, these need special care or cannot go to UAE:
- Medicines that are controlled in the UAE, including some common painkillers and sleep aids, even with a Pakistani prescription
- Pork products and alcohol
- Poppy seeds and betel leaves (paan)
- E-cigarettes in commercial quantities
- Religious or political printed material in bulk

Can I send medicine to my family in Dubai?
Only some. The UAE controls several medicines that are sold freely in Pakistan. Send the prescription and doctor's letter, and check the medicine restrictions page first. We decline medicines on the UAE controlled list.
