Sea freight (LCL/FCL)
Sea freight is the cheapest way to move large volumes. Your goods travel either in a shared container (LCL) or a container of your own (FCL), usually from Karachi or Port Qasim.
LCL or FCL?
- LCL (less than container load): you pay for the space your goods use, measured in cubic metres (CBM). Good for 1 to about 15 CBM.
- FCL (full container load): you book a whole 20 ft or 40 ft container. Usually better value above about 15 CBM, and your goods are not handled alongside others.
