How to ship from Lahore to the USA
Sending a parcel from Lahore to the US takes five steps. Most delays come from step three, the paperwork, so that is where to take care.
1. Check what you can send
Clothing, dry packed food, documents and most gifts are fine. Meat, fresh produce, many medicines and anything with a loose battery are not. See what you can ship.
2. Pack and measure
Use a strong box only slightly larger than the contents. Then measure it: US shipments are charged by chargeable weight, so empty space costs money. Our calculator shows the weight you will pay for.
3. Prepare the paperwork
- A copy of your CNIC
- The receiver's full address, ZIP code, phone and email
- A list of every item with quantity, material and value. US Customs want specifics: “3 men's cotton kurtas, PKR 5,000 each”, not “clothes”
4. Decide who pays duty
Since the US suspended its $800 duty-free allowance in 2025, most parcels are assessed for duty. With duties paid you settle it at booking; otherwise the receiver pays at delivery.
5. Book and track
Drop the parcel at our Lahore branch or book a pickup. It flies to New York (JFK), clears customs, and is delivered by a US carrier. Express usually takes 4 to 7 working days; economy 8 to 14.
